The TK series of large three-phase synchronous motors is a high-performance product line specifically designed and developed by our company for air compressors.
These motors incorporate advanced technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes, and are meticulously selected and built. They feature a compact size, light weight, attractive appearance, high efficiency, low noise and vibration, safe and reliable operation, and ease of use and maintenance.
As large three-phase synchronous motors, the TK series is primarily used to drive large, constant-speed machinery—such as reciprocating air compressors—and finds extensive application across industries including refrigeration, chemical fertilizers, iron and steel, metallurgy, electric power, cement, petroleum, and chemicals.
This series of motors features a leading power factor (rated at 0.9 leading), which helps improve the power factor of the electrical grid; the motors are characterized by stable operation, high efficiency, and strong overload capability.
Standard specifications include a rated frequency of 50 Hz (with a 60 Hz version available as an option) and rated voltages of 380 V, 3000 V, 6000 V, and 10000 V.
These motors feature a horizontal structure and are typically of the open type. Shaft extension options include single-shaft, double-shaft, and shaftless (suspended) designs; ventilation options include ducted ventilation and explosion-proof configurations.
The excitation system utilizes a static thyristor excitation unit, and the motors support full-voltage direct-on-line starting.
