T-Series Medium-to-Large Three-Phase Synchronous Motors
1 Overview
These synchronous motors are a product series developed by our company based on asynchronous motor technology. They are designed for operation in environments free from corrosive gases (such as acids or alkalis) and feature a rated power factor of 0.9 (leading).
The series utilizes computer-aided optimization in its design and incorporates new materials and manufacturing processes to meet diverse user requirements. Key characteristics include reliable performance, low temperature rise, low losses, high efficiency, minimal vibration, high pull-out torque, simple structure, and ease of maintenance.
These synchronous motors are suitable for driving compressors, crushers, ball mills, rolling mills, blowers, water pumps, and other general-purpose machinery.
2 Structural Description
The motors feature diverse structural configurations: options include standard dual-bearing-pedestal designs, fully overhung (shaftless/pedestal-less) designs, semi-overhung (single-pedestal) designs, and movable-stator designs. Safety-oriented configurations include slip rings with protective covers and positive-pressure ventilation systems. Designs range from cylindrical to box-type structures; bearings can withstand bidirectional axial thrust and support reversible operation. Cooling options include self-ventilation, with horizontal or vertical mounting. Excitation systems include both slip-ring/brush types (thyristor excitation) and brushless excitation. Voltage ratings include 380V, 3kV, 6kV, and 10kV, with protection ratings ranging from IP00 to IP54.
The motor frame, end shields, and baseplate are fabricated from steel plate. Temperature-sensing elements are installed on the stator and bearings to monitor the motor's temperature. The rotor utilizes salient poles, with fans mounted at both ends of the magnetic yoke; cooling air enters through the end shields, flows into the rotor core, passes through the stator's radial ventilation ducts, and exits via the frame's air outlets, ensuring excellent cooling performance. Ventilation types include ducted, semi-ducted, air-to-water cooling, and air-to-air cooling; bearing options include end-shield sleeve bearings, pedestal-mounted sleeve bearings (with circulating pressurized oil cooling), and end-shield rolling-element bearings (grease-lubricated, etc.).

4 Ordering Information
When ordering, the user must specify the following requirements:
(1) Motor model (5) Rated frequency (9) Cooling method (13) Packaging and transport
(2) Rated power (6) Rated speed (10) Excitation method (14) Insulation class
(3) Rated voltage (7) Protection class (11) Outline and mounting dimensions (15) Mounting method
(4) Rated current (8) Direction of rotation (12) Duty type (16) Environmental conditions
Any other special requirements—such as special environmental conditions, safety ratings, starting performance, pull-out torque, or the installation of temperature sensors or space heaters—must be agreed upon separately at the time of ordering. If not specified, production will be based on national standards and the company's internal standards.
For motors marked with "★", technical data, structural details, and outline/mounting dimensions are subject to adjustment through consultation with the user.
